We are delighted to bring the popular Cambridge tradition of whiskey tastings to our alumni. Join us for an intimate gathering curated and led by a local expert at the Penn Club in midtown, known for its extensive whiskey selection.

 

Our journey will begin with the sweeter, gentler whiskies of Japan and the Scottish Highlands, progressing through increasingly smoky bottlings from Scotland’s island distilleries. This introduces us to the experience of blended versus single-malt whiskies, as well as the heritage and practice of traditional versus peat-smoked floor maltings and the production methods that create these hallowed spirits. Our expert will lead a fun interactive discussion as we work our way through the selection.

 

Tickets include servings of the four selections for the evening. Additional beverages and food avaailable for individual purchase. Please RSVP and purchase tickets as walk-ins will not be allowed if we reach capacity. There will be an option to keep the learnings going with two more selections purchased once we get through the first four, and we have structured this as an option to allow you a chance to decide based on how you feel at the time.
