Cantabs invited!
A raucous parody, The Real Inspector Hound, by Tom Stoppard takes the stage at the ACC and CantabNYC has access to 15 FREE seats per night Monday, May 1 – Thursday, May 4!
From the playwright who authored Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, and The Real Thing comes this charming and madcap One Act, which lovingly skewers theater critics (sweet revenge for a playwright!). This innovative play-within-a-play has two critics, Birdboot and Moon, in attendance to review what turns out to be a dreadful murder mystery. The two critics are in the “audience” watching with the rest of us. All is not as it appears on stage, however, and soon the critics themselves are drawn into the action, to hilarious ends.
A great chance to meet the cast and still enjoy an early evening. With a run time of ~75 minutes, have a glass of wine after the show and you will still be in time for dinner!
