Boat Race Live Viewing Party 2025

CantabNYC is delighted to announce one of our beloved annual traditions, the live New York viewing of the annual Oxford-Cambridge Boat Race (2025) on Sunday April 13th. Now in its 18th year, our event has grown to become the largest organized gathering to watch live coverage outside the UK, and is frequently covered in local and global media.

 

Once again we are delighted to return to THE CHURCHILL, where the staff have become avid supporters of the race, though they all rally behind the better side …

 

Let us know if you rowed for your college or university, and we will have something special waiting for you on arrival.

 

As in prior years, we will have a private space (the second floor). Doors open at 8am with full cash bar (it’s the weekend, after all …) and a host of happy hour drink and bar food specials. As the morning progresses, we encourage you to order from THE CHURCHILL’s legendary Roast Lunch specials, rated among the best British lunches in North America.

Please note: The registration price guarantees entry to the event, with food and drinks purchased from the cash bar on an individual basis.

 

 

Booking Information

All are welcome, and feel free to bring guests. This is a kids-friendly event with a family-dedicated space for strollers and play area for those bringing future rowers (tickets not required for those under 18).   All attendees are welcome to stay on at THE CHURCHILL after our event ends; typically we have a core group staying on for lunch, drinks and even dinner!   Note: This event has sold out every year since we started, we encourage you to get your tickets as soon as you are able. The venue has capacity restrictions and we have had to turn people away on previous occasions.
